About Us

How It All Started

GG Workshop didn't begin with tattoo equipment. We started by making light pads (Lightbox / Lightpad) for artists and tattoo professionals. But one day, our tattoo artist friends asked us to create something they were missing in their work — a comfortable armrest for their clients.

We combined our strengths: I, Ilya, understood what the ideal armrest should look like from an ergonomic and comfort perspective, while my partner Andrey had expertise in metal manufacturing. Together, we developed the design and technical specifications — and in 2017, we launched our first model featuring an oversized cushion, which we named the Tattoo Armrest XXL.

Manufacturing & Patents

From day one, quality has been our priority. Our products are handmade, and both the frame construction and armrest design are protected by patents — these are original developments by GG Workshop Tattoo Equipment that you won't find anywhere else.

War & Relocation

We started production in Ukraine. But in 2022, when the war began and our manufacturing facility ended up on occupied territory, we faced a painful decision — to move our equipment and our people to safety.

Today, GG Workshop operates from Poznań, Poland. We kept our team together, maintained our quality standards, and continue doing what we do best.
