So what do we have now?

Customization: we used to stick to the monoblack strategy, making solid black armrests. However, many tattoo masters want to variegate their workspaces, inspiring us to add as many as 12 new color combinations!

Improved cushion: stretch-wrapping the pillow is now easier. The top part is made of super-transparent water- and vapor-proof film that's easy to clean and unafraid of aggressive medical disinfectants. Even staying in solvent for 12 hours didn't destroy this film. Second, stretch-wrap of any type sticks to the film much better. Third, 12 new color combinations!


Doesn't wobble or slide: thanks to the correct size proportions of the cushion and the base, the armrest won't topple over, and its heavy rubber legs won't let it slide down even ceramic tiles!


Secure vertical fixation: you can go as far as to climb the armrest and stand on it, not to mention the occasions when your clients want to use it as a chair (it does happen :)


Secure cushion tilt lock: two powerful clamps allow to lock the cushion's tilt, although most people only use one position, which is enough for arm tattoos, at the very least!


Cushion firmly fastened to the metal frame: no self-tapping screws or screwdrivers! Only a threaded connection using bolts and the metal mating part inside the cushion can ensure a secure lock. Even if the armrest has a bad fall, nothing will happen to it - which is something that self-tapping screws can't guarantee. (Previously, the screws could get ripped out of the cushion's wooden base).

GG Workshop provides a 2-year warranty on the metal frame of GG Workshop armrests. Cushion, pad, upholstery and other soft-contact consumable parts are excluded from warranty.

I SAW SIMILAR ARMRESTS. DO YOU HAVE PARTNERS?

NO. There are a lot of "similar" products on the market (hell, just like in any other field🙄). But we don't give a damn about it. Seriously, you can make the same armrest in your garage if you want. We do not mind (we can even share our experience). But it's always a question of quality or price. We have been making armrests since 2016 and we guarantee the quality, we also have a PATENT for the armrests XL and XXL. The same about "similar" stores. It's up to you. Just check sellers carefully before buying 😉

WHY ARE ARMRESTS XXL NEEDED FOR A STUDIO?

First of all, the most concerns are connected with organizing a proper workplace for an artist and high-level service for a client. The tattoo sessions are long and require holding an arm in a fixed position for an entire period. If the person stays in this position without comfortable furniture, he will probably become tired and disappointed. Works great! Love the adjustability and how comfortable the cushion is for my clients! I only gave 4 stars because I had ordered the orange spider web with the black frame and I received it with an orange frame, which is fine, doesn’t change it functionally and it was on me that I didn’t email them right away about the mix up (I received it on a Friday the 13th) it’s just not exactly what I ordered.

So so happy with this purchase! It’s really hard to find tattoo furniture that’s cute, colourful and really good quality. The XL big boy is very sturdy and even nicer in person. The only thing I’d say is it would be helpful if it came with instructions and the actual metal bar does chip easily so just watch for that.

I’ve had a chance to use it in alongside other brands of XL arm rests, GG is the best because the pros out weigh any cons by a mile. The only con is maybe, big maybe on the sewn piped seams on the cushion edges where the customers arm is hanging over on it for hours. A smoother extra padded top edge on the cushion. But that all really the Fat Boy XXL is far sturdier than other brands frames , the design of all the height and swivel adjustments is better and sturdier. 20 yrs in, I feel like this will be something I will have for the rest of my tattoo career and use often.

Definitely an upgrade. Hard to keep clean. Also kind of a pain to adjust height and angles. Since it’s so big there are two sides to adjust as opposed to a single beam with a smaller pad. I guess the perfect arms rest would be xxl, sturdy, and effortless adjustable joints.

I had a large arm rest like this from a different company that was starting to not be able to support my clients weight and would side down easily and be hard to tighten Comparing the 2 I can already tell this is much better quality, the base is thick and stong, the caps on the legs stay in its place, its easier to tighten and dosent seem like it loose its strength anytime soon, the design is gorgeous and better than i envision, I already get alot of compliments and clients excited to use it!
